평택시민과 주한미군(가족)이 문화교류를 통해 소통하는 축제가 열린다.

평택시국제교류재단(이하 재단)은 10월15,16일 이틀간 팽성읍 안정리 K-6 미군부대 정문 앞에서 ‘제17회 한·미 친선 한마음 축제’를 개최한다.

경기도와 평택시가 주최하고 평택시국제교류재단이 주관하는 이번 축제는 평택시민과 주한미군이 문화적 교류를 통해 하나 될 수 있는 거리축제로, 시민과 주한미군 가족들이 좋은 이웃으로 나아갈 수 있는 발판이 될 것으로 재단은 기대하고 있다.

축제는 호소력 넘치는 목소리로 꾸준히 인기를 얻는 아티스트 알리와 박상민이 선보이는 신나는 무대와 헤이걸스, 갤럭시익스프레스, 난타공연 등이 준비된다.

아울러 남녀노소 누구나 즐겁게 참여하는 체험 및 세계음식부스와 축제 참가자들을 직접 인터뷰하는 이색 프로그램 ‘평택VJ특공대’, 자원봉사들이 참여하는 ‘플래시몹’도 진행된다.

특별 프로그램으로 끼 넘치는 신청자들이 펼치는 무대를 관람하는 ‘평택 갓 탤런트’라는 장기자랑 대회가 펼쳐진다.

‘평택 갓 탤런트’는 10월13일까지 재단 페이스북 링크를 통해 신청하면 된다.

특히 축제는 캠프 험프리스 개방 행사와 연계해 진행될 예정으로 더욱 이목이 집중되고 있다.

캠프 험프리스 개방은 15일(토) 오전 11시30분~오후 6시까지로 부대 출입 희망자는 신분증을 필수로 지참해야 한다.
