콜 로빈슨(Col Robinson) 미 제7공군 제51 의무전대(USFA 51st Medical Group) 신임 전대장(대령) 일행이 10월12일 평택시 송탄보건소(소장 황장성)를 방문했다.

이날 콜 로빈슨 전대장 일행은 황장성 소장과 현재의 코로나19 상황과 상호 비상응급체계 등 관심사항에 정보와 의견을 교환하고 헬스케어교육센터 등 주요시설을 둘러봤다.

송탄보건소는 앞서 2014년 12월2일 미 제51 의무전대와 신종·해외유입 감염병을 비롯한 감염병의 피해 최소화 및 지역사회 확산방지, 대량 사상자 발생시 정보공유와 협조를 위해 최초로 협약을 체결했다.

보건소 관계자는 “콜 로빈슨 전대장 일행 방문을 통해 양 기관이 상호교류와 위기발생시 공동대응을 한층 강화하는 계기가 됐다”고 밝혔다.

Col Robinson's group of the 51st USFA 51st Medical Group visited Songtan Health Center in Pyeongtaek on October 12.

On this day, former General Col Robinson and his group exchanged information and opinions with Director Hwang Jang-sung on concerns such as the current COVID-19 situation and mutual emergency emergency system and toured major facilities such as the Healthcare Education Center.

Songtan Health Center previously signed an agreement with the 51st U.S. Medical Corps on December 2, 2014 to minimize damage to infectious diseases, including new and overseas infectious diseases, prevent the spread of local communities, and share information and cooperate in the event of massive casualties.

An official at the public health center said, "The visit of former General Col Robinson and his party served as an opportunity for the two organizations to further strengthen mutual exchange and joint response in the event of a crisis."
